Quickly make a delicious smoothie, each time with this formula. How?
The secret to this easy smoothie recipe is using a simple 1:1:1 ratio!
With this in mind, you can easily replicate this smoothie to your liking using ingredients of your choice each time you want to make a quick smoothie.
i.e., just use the same amount of fruit, and remember to use either 1 tsp, tablespoon, or scoop of protein powder (optional) for everything else.
The recipe below is my standard vanilla fruit smoothie, using frozen mango, pineapple, and banana. (Note: I always throw in a Medjool date whenever I make smoothies, which I highly recommend!)

kcalIngredients
Small handful of frozen mango
Small handful of frozen pineapple
Small handful of sliced frozen banana
1 Medjool date
Vanilla extract
Raw honey
Scoop of vanilla protein powder
Your choice of liquid (i.e., vanilla soy milk, oat milk, juice, etc.)
Directions
- Throw in all the fruit (use the same amount of fruit following a 1:1 ratio!)
- Add a drop of vanilla, honey (adjust for your serving amount), and scoop(s) of protein powder,
- Pour in about a half cup to a cup of vanilla soy milk, or your liquid of choice. (I like to also add in a little bit of water to thin it out.)
- Blend!
- Sprinkle toppings of choice. (i.e., coconut flakes and chia seeds)
Notes
- This is easily replicable with any ingredients of your choice if you remember my 1:1:1 rule!
- If you're making it for yourself, just use the same amount of fruit (no matter which fruits you choose), 1 tablespoon for honey, 1 tsp for vanilla, 1 scoop for vanilla protein powder, and 1 cup of liquid (I like to mix vanilla soy milk with some water - about half and half.)
- You don't have to use (all) frozen fruit. If you don't, just add some ice.
